Wearing Vests Instead Of Jackets For Spring And Summer - Just Style LA

I think vests can be a great replacement for jackets for the warmer months in spring and summer. I personally have always liked wearing them. What about you? Do you like wearing vests?

Today I have put together a new look using one of our vests as my third piece instead of a jacket. I started off with our best-selling Sage Pebble Stripe Button Front Shirt, which we have restocked a few times.

This is a really nice rayon shirt in a beautiful sage color with a fun pebble print vertical stripe. The body is semi loose, and it has long sleeves with cuffs. However, it also has a tab and button detail that allows you to fold up the sleeves as I have done for today’s look.

Instead of choosing a jacket or cardigan, I decided to style this shirt with our Ivory Cascading Collar Cargo Vest. This vest has cargo style pockets, a cascading collar and an inside cord and drawstring belt. It looks great left open or you can tie the waist to give it more shape. We only have a few pieces left in this vest.

As for accessories, I have two brand new pieces today, both of which are super cute. The first one is our Gold Tone Intricate Diamond Shape Earrings, which is a very pretty piece that can work with many outfits.

The second item is our new Gold, Sea foam & Cream Three Piece Bracelet Set. When you order this bracelet, you will receive three different bracelets that can be worn together like I have done today, or they can be added to any of your existing bracelets as a stacked look. One of the bracelets has a sea foam color bead which picks up on the sage color of the shirt.

For today’s look, I chose to wear my wider leg jeans. I tend to always wear skinny jeans as I think that style looks the best on me. However sometimes I like wearing different shapes of jeans, so today I chose a wider leg look.

Wide leg jeans – 7 for all mankind (old)

Bag – Prada

Sandals – Kalista

How do you like my look?
